I've had it for maybe a month but never seen these tentacles before!

Pretty worrying, I just saw my torch has closed up for the night and it has a similar thing coming out of its mouth too. The hammer seems to not be doing it anymore.

TBH looks like "pooping" but make sure it's not BJD, if they return to normal it's just them "pooping" or expelling excess waste.

If it's coming directly from their mouth it's expelling excess waste.

Lol I just googled pictures of corals pooping and I think that's it... It's definitely coming directly out of the mouth, and today was the first day I've fed the corals brine shrimp rather than just roids or phyto. I know this probably sounds like a dumb question, but... is this a normal thing to do, or should I not free brine to the corals?

Feed them if you want, or don't Euphyllia's tend to get sufficient food any which way. IMPE.

I don't feed mine.

You can feed them solids like brine, shrimps, chunks of fish, or phyto like reef roids.

The only spot feeding of corals I ever do really anymore TBH is ReefRoids on my SPS.

But there's no harm feeding or not feeding them.

Expect them to grow faster with targeted feeding for sure.
