Hi all - first time posting. I received a couple rainbow BTA from someone a few days ago and one of them seems to have some sort of growth on it. The anemone is very young/small, about 2 inches across when inflated. It has this fleshy-looking line that extends from the mouth over the edge down toward the foot. When the nem is open, the edge of it is puckered around that line like it's not stretchy enough to let it open there. Does anyone know what this is and if it's something that needs treated? I hate to go poking around on a newly moved critter. TIA.

Agree, did it feed recently?

It did feed recently, yes. I guess I haven't seen such a solid strand of mucus or excretions before. It seems to be pretty tightly adhered to the nem.
