Why is that? does it aid in coral health aswell as killing off pests? Thank you :)
Yes.
Brightwell has a few good products too for dipping, healing and curing.

I use CoralRX also with good success. A bottles lasts me a long time even when expired. This is the process I use for all SPS and LPS that go in my tank. For up to 3-4 frags I use 2 cups of tank water to 2.5ml of CoralRX. Float the bags in the sump for about 10-15 mins just to bring to equal temp. Soak for 10 mins in the CoralRX/water solution, swish around and then move to a clean container of tank water. Swish around a bit, let it sit for about 1 min, swish again and then onto the frag rack.

Only once did I find a nasty flatworm fall off a frag before. 99% of my sources thankfully have been clean.

Out of context question... do mushroom corals(namely bounce mushrooms) do they get diseases or prone to?
Should not however they can be invaded by pests such as red or black bugs. If on a frag plug or base, IF YOU CAN, lift up and look underneath to see if any creepy crawlers underneath.

Are there some dips that are less stressful/more gentle for the coral?

Several vendors talk about being very careful with dips as can be add extra stress to the shocked coral.

Anybody buy Divers Den corals from Liveaquaria? Spoke to a customer service rep about wrasse that died in quarrentine and she told me Diver’s Den at the Wisconsin facility goes through extensive quarrentine and treatments before holding for 4 weeks! I ordered aquacultured coral frags and wrasse from Diver’s Den. Any help is appreciated as my Zoas and mushrooms came on live rock over 20 yrs ago and wanted toadstool mushroom to hopefully house my little clownfish (tank breed) I also have tons of mushrooms growing all over I might be able too trade?
