Anyone know the best way to stick frags to back glass panel? I tried to do the glue+epoxy, but eventually they still fall off. I've even had encrusting monti's that have started to encrust on glass and still have fallen off.

Hmm good question. What type of glue were you using?

they make magnetic frag plugs. glue the coral to the plug then then just stick a magnet on the back of the tank.

cyanoacrylate gel glue + epoxy. will stay on for few days - weeks, then eventually come off. I don't have alot of coraline to back glass yet, so it's really hard to just glue/epoxy on glass.

The magnetic plugs sound like good idea.

I just ordered some aqua-mags. Those are some pricey frag plugs :)

I used epoxy to affix a monti cap to my overflow box. You might have to download the picture and zoom in. You can see the new growth since it's been attached.

Here's an idea. Try was using suction cups. Just like extra ones you get with return pumps and powerheads. I'm sure you have some laying around somewhere.

I don't do this, but if I were going to do so, I'd use the magnetic frag plugs.

The correct and yet ugly way to do this would be to smear the glue all over the back glass before applying glue on the frag and then on the back glass. It's worked great for me and my montis have stayed put. You need a large enough base that can support the frag as well as flow. I generally put it on the frag and then use it to smear on the back glass before holding it to set.

I use Ic-gel super glue btw. Epoxy is too messy and gets the skimmer going bananas.
