OK NEWB here and I something new to the reef......

I don't know what it is other than its white doesn't move and looks to have feathers of a feather duster on it, it is in the middle of this picture and a few around it.

Thanks in advance for your help.

YEY the tank is only six weeks old and I am pushing the limits by adding 2 -3 fish a week.

I am checking the water daily and have a backup tank just in case just trying the live rock, live sand, and cycled water theory.

If yuo dont cycle your tank properly you will never meet that biodiversity a tank should have.

It's hard to resist, but listen to the collective experience of everyone on here...slow down. I'm fortunate to have never had enough money to go fast :)

+1 on slowing down and does anyone know how to get rid of them? I have a good bunch of them and I know they dont really hurt but would like them cleaned up because they are multiplying like wildfire.
