I have two things I wanted to identify that I’ve had in this tank for a bit now. First one is a purple encrusting thing that came off a frag so I’m thinking it’s just from that coral and is starting off another colony and the second, which are white bulb like bodies, looks like a feather duster but can’t see it’s dusters. They like to hide behind the wave makers and behind my overflow box. Thanks

White blobs look like pineapple sponge not sure on the other thing. Maybe a better pic under white light of the other thing would help?

Hopefully that’s better but they have like a little bristle coming off the front of them. They almost have a slug like body but don’t move and they break up easily.

Ahh that is either a favia, or a favite. I think it is a favia though. There is a fine line of difference in the 2
Yeah I was thinking that since it came off a favia but wasn’t sure since it didn’t have the polyps or the orange the other one has.
