Some cyano does not always fall apart...It didn’t fall apart, so probably not cyano. I have a microscope, I’ll try to take good magnified photos.
i was going to say flat worm with the first pics, but the ones where you've pulled them out doesnt look like it. Looks to be inanimate. A flat worm would wiggle and try to get away even in the dish or whatever you put it in. Id say if its not moving around out of the tank its probably not a flat worm.I had someone mention that this could be a polyclad flatworm. Any chance that this is what it could be? If so, what should I do about it? Thanks!
as suggested above try blowing it off with a turkey baster and do this occasionally during maintenance. Im thinking its some sort of bacteria or algae. The pics look like plant cells to me but im not a biologist.Yep it's a strange one for sure! It doesn't wiggle and the one of my first goniopora hasn't moved. The issue is it's now on my second goniopora. I could try dipping the coral, but this is the first coral I added to the tank and don't want to stress the coral without due cause.
