Zoas are dying, parameters are solid. Saw this guy on my Zombies and have no clue what this is! Anybody know and could this be the zoa killing culprit?!

Amphipod.

It is unknown whether they eat coral tissue, or scavenge dead and dying corals for the microorganisms on them.

Anecdotal reports are anecdotal.

Amphipod, I always try to keep these guys out of my tank, or at least control their population. I know reefers have differing views on these guys, but IME even if they aren’t the cause of a coral being agitated and closed up, their feeding frenzy on injured or damaged coral tissue can cause an already stressed coral to decline further.

Thank you, guys! I guess I will get a pod eating predator stat. Can't dip my whole tank unfortunately and they seem to be growing in large numbers.

When to mix up fish meal: When was the last time you tried a different brand of food for your reef?
