What is this on growing on the rock below my scoly and should I be worried?

Pics a bit blurry but looks like a vermetid. And a big one. Break it off at the base with pliers or superglue the hole shut.

Thanks! I thought it was a vermetid but I wasnt sure, and hard to get a pic with the glass haha. The base is the left side right?

That does look like a vermetid snail tube to me too, though I’ve never seen one that looks quite that long or one with so many corkscrew turns in it. Yeah, the base is on the left side of the pic.

Honestly, I’d be tempted to set up a nano for that guy to see if you can’t get more architecture like that out of it, but that’s just me.
