Now that the correct species of peppermint shrimp are captive bred, this is a much easier problem to solve! For years it was always a "will I don't even know if the kind I got actually eats aiptasia" but now, easy peasy. I was really pleased with how quickly mine went to work and essentially eliminated aiptasia from the system.

I've tried nudibranches in the past and man, what a pain. For me it will now always be peppermints.I had success with the peppermint shrimp method as well!
I used them for a small aiptasia infestation. Best money I've spent on pest eradication so far. I think they wiped it out in about a week. I was hoping to round them up and re-home afterwards, but they all disappeared as soon as the aiptasia did.I have heard of the nudibranches but isn't it possible for them to nuke your tank?
