Hi!

I just got 10lbs of premium deco live rock from gulf live rocks and this creepy little worm crawled out of a whole and has been swaying in the current.

Can someone please ID?

Also are those oysters, clams, or scallops? One of them opened and closed quickly so I assume they are living.

Just setup a 5g fluv.

Update - it is secreting a web like substance from the live rock back to its hole. What is this potential danger noodle? Help haha

Is it the white worm that has most of it not touching the rock?
It is more green than white and is using the clear substance as a way to move quicker now between point a and b

Probably just a small peanut worm. Not many rock dwelling worms are bad for the tank. It seems like it's a new tank and might be cycling. Just let it chill for the cycling period, and if it can live without coral or fish, it is probably not a coralivore or predatory.

I would leave him be. Too many people point fingers and kill with no proof. You buy the rock for diversity.

Freshwater filter only or is it? Have you ever used an HOB filter on a saltwater tank?
