What is this supposed to look like??

Hi all

I had a delivery of 2 Montiporas yesterday
Orange plating and ‘burning ember’

My question is, what is the orange plating one supposed to look like?

Should it have little polyps on it? that sway in the current?- because I can’t see any.

My other Montipora has opened beautifully
I’ve attached a picture, but I’m sorry it’s very difficult to get a good one.

The polyps are out and opened as far as they will already. Looks good.

That’s great thanks it’s my first time with Montipora. Hopefully they’ll be ok over the next few weeks/months

Montipora have extremely small polyps.......you often have to look very close to see them.
