Need some help identifying this thing. I recently have had a issue the past month with something eating my pally zoas. Could this be it??!?

Hard to tell but my best guess is some sort of sponge. Does it move or is it stationary?

Looks somewhat like valonia aka bubble algae. Remove it if you can, sometimes a gentle tug will pop it off.

Didn’t really seem spongy...almost seemed jelly/slug like and just appeared overnight. When I poked it it shrunk into basically nothing. I did a coral dip and pretty much vanished...

Wonder if it is an aiptasia... Bigger problem.
No definitely not. It was literally a jelly like blob that when I poked it flattened out into nothing. It appeared literally overnight.

Definitely not bubble algae. Was jelly...I poked it and it shrunk into basically nothing. Coral x dipped and it vanished.

Not a sponge it was more jelly...it appeared overnight as if it crawled on the frag.
I can't say I ran into anything like it. Jelly makes me think of hydroids or anemones as many move.
yeah no idea either...no anemone in the tank.
