Does anyone know what this could be, the hammer head has been dead for a while I recently noticed this growing around the edge of the head now starting to grow inside the polyp almost looks like an alveopora or is the hammer regrowing?

I'm curing live rock and found this on the bottom of the bucket. It's only about 1 inch long. Any idea if this is a good hitchhiker for a reef aquarium?
