So i was rearranging my tank earlier because i rehomed my damsels today and couldnt catch them with all of the rock in there...so as i was pulling the rock out i was inspecting it all and noticed this spongey, squishy, fuzzy, kind of thing and have no idea what it is...it is kind of hard to see it in the pics so i took a close up and i took one zoomed out a little, it is on the right side of the rock and if you look close you can see the hair like follicle kind of look to it, it is attatched to the rock but is not part of the rock

A sponge will just grow in your tank, it does not need to be a hitchhiker. Nature finds it's way in many cases...
A sponge is a good thing, they filter feed and help clean up your water
