I have this green layer starting to appear on this one rock and some glass around it all the levels are good and it started after my diatom bloom.

Typical film algae most likely. Part of keeping a maturing reef.

I just got some of that too, from a new frag. Looks like lettuce algae, sea lettuce. type of macro algae.

This film algae will likely bond to glass and all surface. This is a good time to add a few mixed snails:
Astrea
turbo
cerith
nerite
nassarius

Yes, film algae and an indication , he can add snails to aid with control

Good thing I have all of those except turbo and nerite!
