Indirect lighting, and good water flow. Another thing you should consider, that this species IMO can be very sensitive to alkilinity changes. So keep an eye on your big three (Ca, Alk, Mg) and make sure they stay put. Not sudden movements. If you see it stressed or receed, do water test.

Thanks for the reply. The picture is from the lfs that had the coral so I am not sure. How long the batfish was there. I have had no long term luck keeping them. Thanks again for the help. Have you ever seem this coral grown out?

They usually encrust/plate in most aquariums, but if they get enough water flow they will probably grow thick columns. It kinda looks like yours is starting to.

Thank you. I will put it on the bottom and see how it does. I am running 2 250 watt MH and 2 t5s.
