My newly quarantined clown has been staying near the top of tank and almost gasping for air. Today I noticed these black dots on his underside. His partner is doing great and is not showing any abnormal behavior.
BTW they are in copper treatment @ 0.30 using cupramine
No, the other clown is at the other end of the tank minding his own business. We added a couple decorations to provide more room to hide hoping this would help, also I forgot to mention his right eye is cloudy and swollen. I was thinking maybe this happened during the ride home since my wife said the other clown was being an butt and attacking him. Not sure though.
Do you mean swimming on it side, if so no. Does the fish eat when food is introduced to the tank? Have you checked ammonia values?
Definitely keep an eye on fish as I am sure you will. The fish could have been compromised prior to purchase, but based on what I see it appears to be normal clown behavior.
yes, swimming/maintaining his current spot while on his side. So far he has not ate anything since we got him (yesterday) I tried selcon soaked mysis shrimp and he wasnt interested, the other clown seemed to enjoy it
