Hi guys!

Noticed this on a rock of a mushroom I have had for 6 months. What exactly is this? Some type of monti? (Encrusting green stuff)

Monti or possibly porites. That’s a score. Btw your mushrooms look severely bleached out. I’d nix the ones nearest the new sps to let it grow unencumbere.

Thanks for the id! They are actually not bleached :) That’s their natural color... Have a lot of mushrooms. The one you can clearly see in the picture is still recovering from a being stung by a Lobophyllia 2 days ago tho :/
