yeah I’m leaning toward this ID. Still going to get more opinions. Hopefully the video clears up any confusion.

After watching the video it is clearly a stometella. Their characteristic flat shape shell is evident. Conch shells are shaped very differently.

This is a fighting conch and the eyes and snout are a giveaway :
Also stomatella does not have a tatooed flesh base. Been doing this 34 years .

Lol idk what to tell you. Looks absolutely nothing like it lol. Look at out the shell spirals at the back. Conch shells don't do that.

Also looks nothing like stomatella I've seen. Shell is way too protruded and not fingernail shaped enough

Hmm all my conchs have a spiral shaped shell at the back including this big gal before she died. Which that said I could see it being a snail.

Definitely a stomatella, I cannot see how this is not a stomatella. I think to clear things up, try to take a picture of it showing its whole shell.

@HWY61 Try to take a picture of it like this. Also does the snail move incredibly fast and has a tail that is really really long.

Edit: I just saw that you included a video but for some reason its not loading for me.

I Just went on to my PC computer and blew up the image 200X and zoomed in on face . . . . . . .

Darn thing looks like Stomatella. !!!!!! My bad- conch has those big eyes and didnt realize as small as they are they size of their eyes. The fibers around their pea sized shells show up when magnified.

Stomatella it is.

Finally got the video to load, and it doesn't look crazy tall and the proportions definitely hit stomatella.
