Ok , to start I'm at work and cant get a pic at the moment but here is the situation. My frogspawn has way over inflated tenticals and is dropping pieces of them all over the place. My hammer which is in the same system is perfectly fine. Any Ideas? Anyone heard or seen this before?

A pic would help. It could be just growing/splitting or polyp bailout from stress.

I'm trying that. Does NOT seem to be working. It was fine in the store lol i now thats a typical story but this isnt the first time this has happened to me with a frogspawn. And like I stated the my hammer is perfectly fine.

How long have you had the frogspawn? How close to the hammer coral is it?

My frogspawn is doing the same thing right now. I have it floating all over the tank! :)

They look like they are going to pop. I have not seen mine do that but I had some before that just shriveled and died. The ones I have now are pretty hardy.

How about some water chemistry information?
Do they retract when the light is out?

My frogs are fine. In fact I want more, I love them and they seem to love me (or my reefing skills).
That is interesting... we need to figure this out.

Wow, that is really weird. I'll post the pic on a couple other forums and see what they have to say.

One person said it has to be your params. He's seen that before when they're not happy. Not much help but ppl on the other forums are looking at least. My GF said its morphing into a bubble coral lol

People here are looking, and trying to help you out. We asked for your water params and never got them. This is actually very helpful in determining what is wrong, along with your lighting flow and how long the tank has been running.

Sorry if I missed it but what lighting do you have it under?

Honestly it doesn't look bad to me. It's certainly odd shaped but usually when stressed the corals closes up and shows skeleton. Might just be adjusting to life in your tank.
