what is your favortite thing about reefing?

This hobby is expensive,not everyone can or are willing to afford it as a parent myself,I can tell you the most rewarding thing that is priceless is having a child to spend the time doing this with,include your parents with you on this journey and be upfront about the costs and develope a plan to get their and maintain the hobby without cutting corners,learn the quarantine process and the costs with it and this hobby will be very fulfilling with the time spent with your animals and family

I am a science teacher and a mom. People are right that he will learn all about science but the most important things he will learn is patience, perseverance, kindness, responsibility, and resilience. These traits are hallmarks of kids growing up to be excellent adults!

the only damper i'd throw in is that as a teen you may wind up in a situation where you wind up spending 4 or more years away at a college somewhere and what happens to the setup then...
