I have this with the replaceable blades, and it is ok.. Blades have short life and does not glide off purple or green films terribly easily.

What might be an upgrade to this magnet. I have Reef Savvy custom 157 g or so with 3/8" glass. Thank you!! Expensive to try them all

Haven't used the 'Hammerhead' or MightyMagnet, but have been very happy with my Tunze. I chose the 'strong' because my glass is 3/4" thick. The blade scrapes coralline great, and it tends to not drag substrate across the glass and scratch like other velcro-based units do.
