Going to pick up some new filter bags and was wondering what micron you all go with?

Bump!

I make my own out of polyfelt from the fabric store. Much cheaper in the long run, but the micron rating isn't available.

filter socks or media bag? 200 micron for filter socks and on the rare occasion I use a media bag it's 800 micron.

100 and 200 micron felt.

Thanks I ordered some 200 micron.

I use 200 Micron if I am going to leave them in for a few days. And then I have some 50's that I use before a party, or when people are coming over to look at the tank. But the 50s (and even tried a 10 & 20) clog quickly - like in a few hours.
