Hey everyone,
Looking for some input on an additional fish i can add to my tank.
I run a reefer 250
54 gallons with 25 gallon sump.

Currently have
2 orange storm clowns
Banggai Cardinal
Mandarin Goby
Yellow watchmen goby
Bandit goby
Six line wrasse ( Peaceful, bothers no one)
Skunk shrimp
Hermits and snails
High stock Mixed reef

Any suggestions? Something with popping color that will get along.

You could get a yellow wrasse or a melanurus wrass so long as you have a sandbed for them to dive into. Or if you wanted to risk it a dwarf angel or some sort.

Popping colors? How about a peaceful yellow or purple assessor?

Angels are dope but ive seen guys practically crawling on their hands and knees, battle scars and all with 1000 mile stares returning them back to the local fish stores.

ive also been a fan of anthias
But not sure which one.
Heard they can be picky eaters
The purple queen anthias would be sick

I would personally go with a dwarf angel, a coral beauty is fairly inexpensive and one that is typically not known to pick at all unlike a flame or lemonpeel. If not that, how about a Kole tang? They remain relatively small and have lots of personality. With that six line wrasse, although may appear peaceful, if you throw another wrasse in there that may change very quickly.

An Orchid Dottyback should get on well with the other tank mates if purple is the ‘pop‘ you are after. I have one in my RSR250 along with a Yellow Tang, Occ clownfish pair, Lawnmower Blennie and Sixline. My inverts are a Coral Banded Shrimp, Hermit crab (not sure which), Sand Sifter starfish and various snails (Turbo, Trochus and Money Cowries) so similar to you. All get along very well.

I know 3’ tanks are considered small for Tangs but my 18 month old YT is very much the centrepiece of my tank and seems very happy.
