just fyi but i think you have a bicolor dottyback, not a royal gramma. is it aggressive?

that and the damsels.. could be quite rough on anything new
Hi, thanks. I USED to have an orchid dottyback and it was hellish...it killed my first diamond goby, so I had a nightmare trying to catch it and get it out of the tank, back to the LFS and this is actually a royal gramma and very nice and peaceful

My vote for your new fish addition would be a Foxface Rabbitfish. I have one and love it! I also have a Royal Gramma too and they get along great. This fish will add a great color burst of sunlight yellow, easier to maintain without worrying too much with “Ich” issues and this fish swims out in the open throughout the day. I feed mine Julian Sprung Algae Sheets and LRS Reef Frenzy, which all my fish love and devour faithfully.
