What Planet is This From?

I was cleaning my glass this morning and discovered this interesting creature.

What the heck is it and is it dangerous or beneficial?

Hard to tell from the underside, but you might want to look up limpets and see if they look familiar. If so, they are good guys.

How does it look on the other side of it (as in, the shape of the shell)? Cause it could be a limpet. Maybe even a chiton, but my guess is limpet.

It's hard to get a good angle, because it is right in the middle of my tank and top down or from the side is very blurry. I did however notice that there are a bunch of them on my overflow and power heads and sump as well...
