i would only add two for and keep testing parameters for awhile. Then wait a couple months and see how things are going. stay away from the sixline as they can be bullies and nip fish fins ime, pink streaked is a better choice if you can find one

You might have to order the wrasse from somewhere. The firefish and a goby are probably fine as long as you keep up with your waterchanges. More fish create more waste. If your get a goby or wrasse you might want a lid for your tank. They are jumpers especially the smaller the tank gets. They like to carpet surf.

the phosphate is concerning, it will decrease with water changes and increased maintenance of mechanical filters. What test kits are you using to measure the parameters though

Also another choice I was thinking of getting was the yellow band possum wrasse. Is that a good fish? Would it be good in my tank instead of the pink streak wrasse just to have another option?

you wrote .25 phosphate, it is still a bit high and would cause algae to grow a lot faster. Its not in a dangerous range but should be dealt with before adding anymore fish if algae is an issue already.

mystery wrasses as well are quite mean, other good options are tanakas wrasse, or white banded wrasse

I definitely know how hard it is to tell, the lowest reading is .25 on the test kit though? That seems high as an intial reading, but i would only really trust hanna checkers for phosphate anyway. No real need for concern but something to be wary of incase of algae issues etc.
So it is fine that I will have five fish eventually in my 20 gallon? Its not to much?
Maybe, i would aim for 4 and then check parameters in a couple of months, if they are still good then i would add a 5th fish

Dottybacks would possibly go into your tank but they can be aggressive and defend their territory pretty heavy. I wouldn't put them with more than just the clownfish in your tank and probably wouldn't do it in anything less than a 30gal with lots of hiding spots.

I re tested the water today and this is the results

0 ammonia
0 nitrite
0 nitrate
8.0 ph
Calcium 450
Phosphate 0

So the phosphate is at zero which is good and it looks like all my parameters are good.

only buy 1 fish and wait a few weeks, 2 if they happen to have both in stock and on sale but you want to be slow with adding fish to the tank to not overload the biological balance
