Since Ashley and I started this business in April 2022, we've been asked what sets us apart. This is a question that's always on our mind, driving us to continually improve. From the very beginning, we knew we wanted to put customers first, and about a year ago, we started talking about the Dinkins Difference.
The Dinkins Difference is simply this: we're not perfect, but we try our very best to treat each customer like a VIP. We strive for concierge-level customer service. For instance:
1) All orders are shipped in biodegradable styrofoam boxes at no extra cost. Even though we sell very small and hardy organisms, we treat them as carefully as a rare coral. Yes, styrofoam coolers are a little more expensive than some other options out there, but we absorb the cost because we want you to get the highest quality products possible.
2) All orders are sent by second day shipping, at no extra cost (and shipping is free on orders over $60). While our products would almost certainly survive a longer transit time, we want to provide you with the best possible buying experience. This also provides plenty of cushion in case of the occasional UPS delay. We do not charge extra for second day shipping - it's automatic.
3) We offer an unconditional, no-questions-asked Live Delivery Guarantee. There are no exceptions, you don't have to pay for special shipping services to get it, and you don't have to fill out any forms or even send pictures. We try to treat you the way we'd like to be treated!
4) We prioritize open communication. We do our very best to answer Messenger, emails, and PMs within a few hours. We also proactively reach out via email in the event of any problems or difficulties and post any important announcements or updates on Facebook and Instagram. Tracking numbers are sent automatically when your order is packed (check your spam folder, just in case!). You never have to guess what's going on with your order.
5) Choose your delivery day. We've added a new feature to our checkout page - use the calendar to select what date you'd like to receive your order. Assuming no UPS delays, that's the day you'll receive it!
