Check the flow first. Like I said before blow around with a turkey baster and see how fast it moves around. I had two mp40s in a smaller tank with a mj1200 and a 2000g return pump with min rock work and my sps were happy. Once the grew in though I had to add more
Is the 100g 24" tall? acros would probably only be happy in the top third of the tank with your lighting.
Get on a 2 part system, they are all basically the same so it doesnt matter which.
Any green algae growth? how often do you clean your glass?
Coraline algae growth? When conditions are right for coraline to grow like mad its also good for acros

I will do the turkey baster, I just didn't think it was a flow issue because it seemed lIke some of my acros were losing flesh on the side that was closest to the power head. So I have moved a couple of them, is it possible for the skin to grow back or will they keep receding?

The tank is 20inches tall, and all my acros are at the top of the tank.

What LED light fixture do you have, I have been thinking about getting LEDs but there is just so many mixed reviews.

The frag tank has quite a bit of hair algea that wer are dealing with but that tank is fairly new so I figured it was just the algea blooms of a new tank. I have to clean my glass at least every 2 days. I haven't really had any coraline algea growth, all growth of my corals has halted along with coraline algea.

Do you think this could be from not using a 2 part system ?

Tissue will grow back over the skeleton.
I can't really tell you about the flow. Obviously placing powerheads blasting right on them will cause tissue loss. Best is to see someones tank who is successful with sps and kind of gauge the flow in their tank by watching them feed or the particle matter moving.
Sounds to me like a phosphate issue though with the frag tank. Is this all one system? My opinion is you should have coraline growth before you start putting sps in a tank. Lack of coraline growth, algae bloom both point to phosphates. I assume you are using some type of gfo, change it out more frequently.
