What size pipe do you use?

I'm doing a tessla eel and I bought 2" PVC so I can blend it into the sand. my question is 2" big enough for it?

I couldn't imagine anything smaller than 4", that might just be barely large enough. Some tessa guys use pvc so their rockwork doesn't collapse, tessa's can move around and collaspe even the largest rocks. You could also epoxy your rockwork to create a natural den. My friend's tessa has at least a 3" diameter.

ok thanks for the size. I'm doing a tunnel system that will be even with the sand so it don't stick out. just wanted a shopping list of the right size
