A skimmer in that little tank is a bit pointless to unless your gonna have a bunch of fish.

But yes according to fluvals website that is the correct one. The PS2

The only thing stock on my Fluval 13.5 is the tank and pump.

The stock pump works fine as long as you add a WM.

Its in my wife’s office but i take care of it. So i guess its mine. :rolling-on-the-floor-laughing:

1 possum wrasse
1 skunk shrimp
1 RFA
1 pistol shrimp
And supposedly there is a yellow watchman gony in there but hes been mia since adding him 3 weeks ago.

Using a skimmer is not necessary for this reef, the volume is so small, the scheduled water change will take care of it; look into Chemipure Nano instead

i was in the no-skimmer camp for nano's too but changed my mind after adding one.
I got a pair of clowns in a 15G and the skimmer pulls a ton of gunk out of the tank, definetely recommended. It will keep your po4/no3 way lower.

That is exactly why I recommended the use of Chemipure Nano, just that and water changes equal to the evap water replaced that time will keep optimal levels (In a Fluval EVO I was doing a water change every time 5 gallons evaporated).
