So I have an option of getting:
Reef Octopus Diablo DCS-150 INT
Swc 150 cone skimmer insump
Vertex 250 insump
My tank is 150g with a 55g sump, lots of corals, 20 fish, inverts and maybe 400lbs of live rock and a bsb

Maybe I'll buy the swc and the vertex just to see and compare! I am only paying $200 for each

You could but by doing so you would be supporting SWC, even if its used. Not sure why someone hasn't bought them out and changed the name yet. They have been known for taking corals out of protected area and avoiding tax laws in a lot of countries. They do have a nice skimmer but supporting them in any fashion is not for me.

IF YOU HAD TO OPERATE EVERYTHING ELSE MANUALLY, WHICH AUTOMATED SYSTEM WOULD YOU KEEP?
