Hello everyone! I went to the LFS the other day and my mother ended up buying these guys under the name"glass cardinal fish" but when I searched the name, nothing came up. They almost look like a redspot cardinal, but without the red and the body shape of a longspine. Any ideas? I searched and searched but nothing similar to them have popped up. The store owner said he didn't know much about them, and that it was the first time he had seen them and gotten them in. Thanks!

It looks like a glass Cardinalfish to me. Hard to tell from a pic.

Agreed on Apogon lateralis. Care for them would be similar to most other Apgon species. Peaceful, hardy, can be trained to eat most prepared foods, may spawn in captivity.
