Actually you are right I did get the species wrong it is Ophichthus polyophthalmus. Still this is a burrowing eel that needs 3+ inches of a fine sand or 1” piping at the bottom of the tank. It should be able to easily hide itself completely.
Pacific species can be very picky so get some live ghost shrimp to start it off.
