Do you have any idea as to what might have caused a wound?
What other fish are in with it?
Was it recently caught up in a net or anything?
It doesn't look like a freshly imported fish, have you had it awhile?

I have had it for a little over a year. He's the bully in the tank and the largest fish in the tank. My tank has 2 smaller Blue Chromis, 2 clowns, a Valentini Puffer, and a Watchman Goby and a pistol shrimp. I'm suspecting he rubbed on a rock?

Looks like a mechanical injury or a bite injury. While it can heal on its own, you may want to consider treatment is a quarantine/hospital tank using seachem neoplex or ruby rally pro which is reef safe
