After adding my 2 new clownfish to the tank my angel fish nearly had the tail removed on one of them in the first 30 minutes. I decided to remove the angel from the tank and place him in a DIY acclimation box for now. I am deciding whether to take him to the store or if I should fire up the old fluvial eco 13.5 and put him in his own tank?

I think he'll mellow out. If you were to fire up the Fluval for a time, then reintroduce in a month or so, it'll probably reset the issue.
