Hi everyone. I'm in Munich Germany for a few days. I thought I might check out some stores where reefing stuff is sold. Does anyone have any suggestions? Danke.

Cool. I'm staying close to the factory. Thought about the castle but weather may not cooperate. Thanks.

Downtown is pretty neat, the architecture of the Rathaus and the clocktower. Frauenkirche is really cool to see too. Neuschwanstien is definitely unique and worth the trip. It was a very pretty ride out on the train, but i was there in summer.

+1 on beer garden, wonderful authentic German experience— but not so much a winter activity. Opt for an indoor experience, Hofbräuhaus, instead, but get there early to grab a seat.

Neuschwanstein is a fake castle, built by Ludwig II in the late nineteenth century. The setting is lovely but the castle itself is unfinished and unimpressive, IMHO. And it takes most of a day from Munich. I prefer Ludwig’s other pad, Schloss Linderhof.

Better to soak in the atmosphere of the city. Marienplatz is beautiful, with the Rathaus and Glockenspiel. Tons of restaurants and shops there. The Ratskeller restaurant beneath the town hall is somewhat touristy, but beautiful.

Sadly I can’t answer your actual question about reefing sites!

I agree the castle not worth it in the winter. It was a nice hike in the summer and a few fun restaurants at the bottom of the hill.
