Hey Guys,

I've been seeing this algae (looks like algae) for about 3 months now but not sure what it is. It blows right off if I use a turkey baster but it keeps coming back.

My tank has been up and running for like 2 years now, however I recently started a biopellet reactor because my nitrates were like 25 ppm. It took about 4 months to see a reduction but I think I overdid it. Now my nitrates are 0 ppm. Not sure if this is a form of dinos (don't have a microscope). I've always had this one my sand bed however, it wasn't this bad on the rocks before.

Does it look like an obvious type of algae/bacteria to anyone or do I really need a microscope for this one?

Current tank parameters:
Nitrates - 0 ppm
Phosphates - 0.07 ppm
ALK - 9.0
Ca - 450 ppm
Mg - 1400 ppm

video failed to load btw (at least for me)
