What type of coral is this?

hey all!

the guy at my LFS sold me this for $20, which i think is a good price.. Anyways, I already forgot what he told me it was. also does this coral need anything inparticular to thrive? Does the one I have look healthy?

I’d carefully remove that bubble algae as it’s invasive and multiplies quickly.

A leather coral but too too unhappy for me to be accurate.

Hard to tell without it open but it looks like a leather.. very easy to care for and should grow fast.. not LPs since it doesn’t have a skeleton.

I'm with everyone else it looks like a leather of some variety, and it's really closed up and unhappy so hard to say what type, but if I HAD to guess I'd guess it's a Kenya tree.

This is either a Sinularia or Capnella
