What worm is this?

I dont know if this is a worm or a spider star fish. I have not bought any star fish nor have I added anything to the tank in a very long time! I assumed they are worms but I dont know what type and if they are good or bad

I suspect bristle worms or fire worms but unsure and dont know if I should try eliminate, I've never seen them before but assumed I had some

Looks almost like a bristle star’s arms from the photos have you seen it fully exposed most likely is a bristle worm

Messed up meant to say most likely is not a bristle worm seems to dark in coloration

Could be a darker fireworm look for red lining on the edges of it next time you see it

As far as if eliminating them it all comes down to identifying if it’s a bristle worm they are a clean up crew but a fire worm would need to be eliminated you can also look for any negative impacts in the tank

I thought that and hoped it was to be honest I have never bought one but then I saw it in another spot at the top on the same rock I haven't seen it before are they good at hiding?

Tbh never seen them i know if have bristle worms i have seen them at night and they didnt look like this, I thought maybe a different breed?

Not really anything negative other than the only corals that survive are my mushrooms my leather Coral and my firetip anenome(4) that dont move

Those look like micro brittle star arms and mostly all you will see of them is the arms sticking out as the catch what goes by. They are hitchhikers and beneficial filler feeders.

They are pretty great at hitchhiking and definetly great hiders I have one that came as a hitchhiker in my smaller reef and have only seen it twice

Hard to tell by your exposure light and too far away you need to get a better picture you already have the info. Mine are bristle worms , and I like them never harmed anything but will eat dead things . These are bristle worms in Paul Bs trap. Second pic are mine
