Start a 150 with the rest of the money I have saved up as well and work towards turning it into a small side business.

I was quoted 3700$ on a custom 185gl plus shipping 1grand wont go far

The real question is??

What couldn't i do! I would first list the things I have wanted to do from. Upgrading the tank to buying a high priced coral I have had my eye on for a while. But all and all I think I would put it into my custom stand build that I have been drafting up and finding new ideas for. Like slide out draws for dosing bottles, to secret push panels for concealing the controllers. To a fake fold down draw for testing station. Since I am building this my self and saving money there if I do have any left over I would love to by a sump/ref.. There are also other ways I could go. I would love a depending on what tanks .(key word) tanks!! I have running at the time. I would buy a MP10 - MP40, or a new Pacific Sun Light, upgrade mods for My apex, but all and all I think the wife would make me use it to start her a tank for herself.... :(
I guess that's still a win-win situation .... Right? At least I would get to put it into the greatest hobby in the world!!

Id honestly build a tank to be a feature in my house rather than just a tank next to the wall. Get a nice 90 gal std tank put it in the wall and make it seem-less as if the tank was part of it. (no molding or anything) Put the sump in the basement, plumb it right, get everything out of the way and just enjoy the look without any noise (not that its loud) and get the lady off my back with it taking up so much real estate in the living room
