What would you put in this sump?

Just purchased a new IM tank, with 50G display and the Nuvo RFS 23 Sump. This is my first tank with a sump and I'm very excited to start getting some equipment.

My current thoughts on what I will be running:

• Filter floss (in the filter media cups)
• Protein skimmer - Quantum 120 protein skimmer
• Algae barn MarinePure Sphere - for copepods and biofiltration
• Activated carbon in a mesh bag in the first chamber under the filter socks

Any other recommendations? or any holes in my plan? I want to maximize my space and really deck it out.

Thats a nice sump. It comes with "High Performance Filter Media Balls" so I would use those and just buy the pods from Algae Barn, and maybe some Macro algae if I ran the fuge?

I'm too lazy to look up the specs on that skimmer but I presume it will fit inside the 7.5" cut out?

I use rock in my sump. The pods grow out just fine in rock rubble
