I have a 15g cube, and I can't decide what to stock it with. I am definitely interested in the coral croucher goby. I was thinking of a pair of clowns at first, but I have read that it might be a little small for them, so I think I am ruling them out. Any suggestions?

I don’t really see an issue with small clown species in a 15g but that’s just me. Pair of clowns with a pistol shrimp/goby combo is pretty common in that size tank. I wouldn’t over do it though so the tank isn’t too much work (in terms of fish bioload)

If I don't go with the clowns, do you have any other stocking suggestions?

Transparent cave goby in my 15.

Yellow Clown goby. These guys are full of personality.

My 15 gallon has a royal gramma, 3 clown gobies (green, black, and yellow), and a redhead goby. I like it, they've been together for 4 years now.

Gobies or blennies get my vote for a 15g tank especially if you don’t want to do clownfish
