But thats the thing the return pump running and the buildup is thereStagnant surface, likely some type of bacterial bloom. Not a big deal, it surface agitation will keep it from forming.
Redsea blue bucketWhat kind of salt do you use, just curious
Why is that buildup bad? What kind of salt do you use, just curious
No it’s not badWhy is that buildup bad?
The pump is sucking below the surface so it never agitates or breaks the surface tension. Like BeanAnimal said it remains stagnant in that chamber and gives it a shot to collect. But thats the thing the return pump running and the buildup is there
But the surface looks stagnant, flow under it or not.But thats the thing the return pump running and the buildup is there
And the more that collects, the less movement there is.The pump is sucking below the surface so it never agitates or breaks the surface tension. Like BeanAnimal said it remains stagnant in that chamber and gives it a shot to collect.
What should i do?And the more that collects, the less movement there is.
Actually i fixed it. The skimmer wasn’t working properly causing all these organic buildup after i turned off and on the skimmer the return chamber clear again odd indeed.Create surface agitation somehow. A tiny power head or something.
