We've seen people GIVE AWAY whole systems or near next to nothing. We've also seen people basically give corals away and if you're at the right place and the right time you can reap the reward!

What's the ONE most awesome deal you've ever gotten?

For me I scored a colony of about 200 PPE polyps for like $100. At the time they were selling for between $50-$100 per polyp!!

After looking for over 2 years I found by accident an old acan skeleton with two Hawaiian feather dusters on it. Never seen feather dusters before in Australia. That rock was in the dirty overhead tank of an Lfs. I asked how much and got told 20 bucks. I couldn'tsay sold fast enough. I would have payed 150 bucks.

An older hobbyist was breaking down his tank, he had some very large colonies. I was looking for a toadstool leather at the time and wanted to purchase one from him. When he learned that I was new to the hobby he ended up giving me two giant toadstool leathers for free. Was a really sweet way to end 2023.

Was originally looking for a 400g tank. Someone had ordered a 500g tank and canceled the order after it was made, so I was able to get it for less than the 400g price. Moral of the story: be flexible and ask your suppliers if deals exist.
