Dang, two corals I don’t think I’ll be able to keep for a while… Acantho wins though, they’re just so fleshy and poke-able (Yes, it’s a coral that just looks like I could poke it).

Why can't you keep them? Angelfish? Anyway I agree with that! Though another factor is unfortunately my lobophyllia ended up bleaching :(

Though hopefully I'll be able to pick up an acantho soon :D

I have angels in one tank and a high PAR in the other - I would also love a Potter’s Angel but fear for my current LPS in the tank where I have no angels.

First of all, can I see a photo of the second tank? Second, any shaded spots you can put low light corals in?

Here’s a photo, prior to the tin disaster (I’ve lost maybe 1/2 of the coral seen here).

The deresa clam is getting 300 PAR at a minimum, if not more. So the Maxima is getting quite possibly 4-500 PAR.
As you can see, it’s either blasted by light or almost no light (although my candy apple zoas were doing well here) unfortunately.

Sorry about the tank crash. Any ways you're trying to lower those levels?

Honestly, I don’t intend to lower the levels but I do acclimate all my LPS to the lighting in one corner (the most shaded corner in the front).
