A couple more things I a have read say that one, there is no cure for Flukes.
Can it be lymphocystis? Pretty sure my copperband has it.
Pet MD. Fish disease and treatment. I should of mentioned. Eye flukes have no known cure. Flukes on body causing a "cloudy" eye? Prazi or FW dipWhere did you read this?
If this were Lympho, it would appear as a cauliflower-like growth on the outside of his eyeball. From what I saw in your pic, it looks to be inside the eye.

If this is flukes, will it affect his other eye as well?

Very possible. All families of flukes (except for gyrodactylids) are capable of infecting the eyes.
I think I will wait and make sure it is indeed flukes and then if it is, I will dose prazipro in my DT.
I just have to warn you that if this is flukes, the fish may be blind by then.
