Whats your favorite clownfish breed?

A. latezonatus or wideband clownfish.. not common in the states.
I would not mind some of those.

The top 3 tanks in my rack system are reserved for 3 sets of clowns. I want some perfect non designer clowns. I am also looking at rare less kept varieties so they do not get lost over time and stay in the hobby.

I really want black onyx.
I also was thinking McCullochi but ORA is now doing a pretty good job on those.

Problem is most of these clownfish come at a high price and are hard to get. It would be nice to have a wild pair too so there is less inbreeding.

Anyone have suggestions for some good pairs? I know on RC the clownfish forum was always busy with this kind of stuff.

I am not in it to make money either. I just want to preserve some history in the hobby.

I like classic, Darwin, or mocha gladiator
The maroons are real nice too
Just not a fan of seeing to much white, makes them look sick imo, but that just me...

hmm hard choice but I love a mocha + darwin pair

I will post some pictured when mine arrive
