Those who have dealt with Dinos of any form, what was the best method or product you used? Im currently battling them and went aggressive: 4x16oz of Galaxy Pods, 1 Large bottle of Seachem Stability, 1Small bottle of Dr Tims Eco-Balance, increased feeding (found out i wasnt interpreting my Salifert test kit correctly and had bottomed out NO3), dosing about 12oz of phyto weekly, and changing filter socks almost daily.

What's your experience and how has it shaped your outlook on reefing?

There are hobbyist that consider most bacteria in a bottle products to be snake oil, I don't. I began using Microbactor7 or other similar products in the 1990s. The administration of such products is not going to cure many problems, but it might prevent some in my opinion.
My tanks have had dino when I over dosed amino acids, or let my N/P values sink too low. Now I supplement N/P and try to balance the ratio, and I use Microbactor7. I very sparingly use amino acid based coral foods. I do not have fish in all my tanks.
This is all antidotal, I am not trying to defend the use of bacteria in a bottle products.
I do cut way back on water changes if dino is popping right back up after water changes.
